Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
